Hello and welcome - to our small fantasy art roleplay community. If you're reading this you've probably already read a bit about the realm of Nonei, the ARPG's setting and world - which inspired by northern and eastern mythology and fairytales, but also shows influences of the early industrial era and steampunk technology. A world filled with bright and beautiful landscapes, but also shadows luring in the darkness. If not, you can learn more about the realm of Nonei, it's lore and folks over at the "world" navigation tab.
Registration
To sign up, click on "register" in the navigation above. You will be shown a form with the following items Username, Email, Password. As a quick note, In order to use the site and view most of the site content, users must link their deviantART account. This is for authentication only!
Afterwards, you will need to confirm your email address. We recommend using gmail, since some providers can have issues receiving emails from our website (especially hotmail & yahoo), if that's the case let us know, please.
Try to access your setting, you will be prompted to authenticate via deviantART. As mentioned earlier the only information we receive is your username. This is simply a way to confirm your identity, also allows to automatically assign existing masterlist entries, in case you already own an SoL character.
Obtaining a character
Characters can be obtained during events and raffles on our website, but also during sales, auctions, or offer to adopts hold by our official resident artists, or by guest artists. But you can also obtain "make your own" slots while participating in the game, or trade/buy existing designs from other members.
Progress and Currencies
Unlike traditional roleplays, an ARPG requires to participate with artwork, crafts and/or writing to earn achievements, rewards, and our in-game currencies Coins & Star Fragments - which can be used to purchased items and additional traits for your characters. You don't have a character yet? - Don't worry, you can always participate in prompts and events with gift art. Means you can draw or write about someone else's character - our masterlist has an option to search for characters who are open for gifts, but you can also ask on our discord anytime!
Nehrian Coins is our main currency, which can be earned by participating in prompts, quests and events. Also, can claim a small number of coins every time you create a gift art or artwork including one of our NPCs in future. This currency can be used to buy new traits, companions or other collectables at Ghost's Shop.
Star Fragments on the other hand is a special currency, which is used to obtain "make your own" slots. This glowing fragments of a shooting star can be obtained as reward from monthly prompts and some quests. From time to time they also are gifted to kind and helpful souls by our admins!
The Masterlist shows in-game stats and record about your character, but also offers customizable options to introduce your characters and show how they are. Including naming them, adding gift art & gift writing preferences, link to their toyhou.se gallery, or creating a small profile page for them.
To edit this information you can click on "Edit Profile" in the menu to the right on your characters masterlist entry. Or click on "menu" on left top corner of your screen on mobile.
The editor for profiles offers a variety of options, including a certain level HTML. Most of the codes you know from toyhou.se (none-premium) will work fine. Feel free to give it a try!

Traits... here you can check the traits your character comes with and add additional ones, if you use a trait item.

Make your own slots are blank character slots that can be obtained from a summon item, which can be won during events or bought with star fragments (tba). The character doesn't have a design attached by now and can't participate in official events and activities until it's been designed and officially approved. You can create a design yourself or commission someone.
Summoning Items
Each folk and subtype has their own summoning item, which will automatically turn into an MYO Masterlist slot after you've opened it. To do so you need to click on the item in your inventory, select the checkbox next to the item name and click on "open".
info: MYOs come with standard stats usually, but you can add other traits during design approval!

To complete a trade, both parties will need to confirm twice each. First to confirm your offer after you are done editing your part. Next to confirm the entire trade is reviewed and all items, characters or currencies you've agreed to trade are added correctly. After both parties have confirmed the trade will be completed.

Step by Step Guide
» Hover "Submit" and choose "Trade"
» Now click on "New Trade"
» Select a user to trade with
» Add a comment (optional)
» Choose items, characters and/or coins
» click on "Create Trade"
Now you need to wait for your trading partner to confirm the trade and add their part. You'll receive a notification once this is done. Check their part and confirm again, if everything look fine!
» Enter the trade from your notifications
» Review the items, characters and/or currency offered
» Add your part of the trade
» Click on "Edit offer" & "Confirm"

Our main currency Nehriean Coins can used to buy in-game items, or artwork from other users. Coins can be transferred from your Bank.
Prompts from all categories (quest boarad, exploring, event) can be participated in via digital or traditional artwork, as well as writings. There are different requirements to be met depending on which submission type you choose and the prompts task. Check the "Artwork & Writing", as well as "Bonus" Guides for more details, please!

All prompts can be participated in via digital or traditional artwork, as well as writings and gain a guaranteed base reward listed in the prompts description. These will be rewarded automatically for submiting a prompt entry that meets the base requirements and doesn't need to be added during the submission. But some prompts you offer bonus rewards, too.
info Make sure to read the description carefully to see if bonus rewards are available or not, please!
Drawn enties
...should include at least one coloured full body (at least 75% of the main character should be visible) of a Spirits of L'une character and a background. It's up to you if the scenery is fully painted, or at least mostly indicated - as long as the scenery has a certain depth - foreground, (middle), background which represents the prompts overall theme.
Additional Characters (+2Coins each) ...additinal character should be visible to at least 50% and be clearly recognizable - not blured or hidden in the shaddows
Story (+2Coins) ...for adding a min.200 words story writing about the scenery and characters shown in your entry to the description of your public entry (for example on instagram or deviantART)
Comic (+1Coins) ...for submiting a comic with at least 3 panels.
Animation (+1Coins) ...for adding a small animation with at least 3 unique frames.
written enties
... should include a word count in the submission form and have at least 600words. Try to implement descriptions of the setting and scenery, to give the reader an idea of what's going on and where the characters are, please!
Word Count (+2Coins) ... for writing a story with more then 800words
Word Count (+2Coins) ... for writing a story with more then 1600words (stacks with the previouse bonus!)
Additional Characters (+2Coins each) ...for additional character added to your writing. To get this bonus they need to be described to interact along the writings main story, not just mentioned by name in an accessory sentence.
Prompts can be participated in via digital or tradditional artwork, as well as writings featuring your own or someone else's characters, one of our Story Characters (NPC), as well as "visitors" from other groups as background character. But please make sure you have permission from the owner to draw any characters that don't belong to you! To help find volunteers for your prompt entry you can check the masterlist search function for "gift art" options or ask at our discord! We highly encourage everyone to adjust their characters gift art options, which can be found at their profile!

Claims are messages to our team to receive missing rewards and items from off-site events, change your username, or receive missing event raffle tickets. But also anything else you'd like to ask a mod to help you with. You can submit them from the "Submit" navigation dropdown.
